Our vanilla pods from Sri Lanka come from the forest gardens around Kandy. It is Planifolia vanilla, as is also known from Madagascar and Uganda – but Sri Lankan vanilla convinces with a particularly intense and unique aroma.

Our Ceylon vanilla pods are particularly high quality: 16–18 cm long, fleshy, soft and fully aromatic. They grow in small forest gardens, sustainably cultivated by small farmers. Hand-harvested and gently dried, they develop a creamy, full-bodied taste with fine notes of caramel, sweet dried fruits and jasmine.
