The Forest Healing Foundation has a clear vision:
To preserve the rainforest with all its unique biodiversity while regenerating exhausted, weakened soils. Piece by piece. Tree by tree.

In the heart of Sri Lanka, the Kandyan Forest Gardens are being created for this purpose – living ecosystems where spices grow in a natural polyculture system. No chemicals, no clear-cutting – instead, an agroforest that is almost self-sufficient.

Because the diversity of plants protects and nourishes each other – a functioning primeval forest.
