Our cardamom grows in the tropical highlands of Sri Lanka, amidst dense rainforests, fertile soil, and natural diversity. The warm, humid climate and slow maturation in the shade of ancient trees give it its characteristic aroma: fresh, floral, and intensely spicy, with subtle notes of eucalyptus, citrus, and sweet warmth.
Cardamom is one of the noblest spices in the world. In Sri Lanka, it has been cultivated for generations and traditionally harvested by hand. The green pods are carefully selected and gently dried to preserve their essential oils and natural freshness.
Our cardamom comes from the Kandyan Forest in the heart of Sri Lanka. There, it does not grow in industrial monocultures but as part of a natural agroforestry system. Amidst ancient trees, wild spice plants, and rich biodiversity, the rainforest remains vibrant and preserved, without clear-cutting or intensive agriculture.
