Our Ceylon cinnamon grows in the tropical rainforests of Sri Lanka – a place where diversity, time, and natural cycles shape its flavor. Its aroma is delicate and multi-layered: a natural sweetness, subtle citrus notes, and warm, woody nuances. Clear, balanced, and elegant.

Ceylon cinnamon is considered the finest cinnamon in the world and is often referred to as "true cinnamon." Its naturally low coumarin content makes it particularly well-tolerated. It's a spice for gourmet cuisine – for baking, cooking, or as a subtle finishing touch on desserts, porridge, or fruit.

Our cinnamon comes from the Kandyan Forest in the heart of Sri Lanka. The trees don't grow on plantations but are part of a natural agroforestry system. Amidst old trees, dense vegetation, and rich biodiversity, the forest is preserved – without clear-cutting or monoculture.

The cinnamon trees are old, and their bark is accordingly robust. This gives the cinnamon its depth and intensity. It is carefully harvested by hand, gently processed, and traditionally produced – with respect for the plant, people, and the environment.
