Our Story.

In the summer of 2022, we did what many before us have done: We packed our backpacks and set off.

Not in search of a specific place, but of new perspectives. What began as a journey soon developed into something else.

Six weeks later, a tuk-tuk took us deep into the rainforest of Sri Lanka. There, we met Nihal.

Amidst spice trees, tropical vegetation, and a small manufactory, we met people who welcomed us with great openness. We cooked together, hiked, practiced yoga, and spent time together. A chance encounter blossomed into a connection that endures to this day.

Four weeks later, we continued our journey. The rainforest remained, as did the questions we carried with us.

Encounters in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia highlighted how diverse realities of life can be. They led us to reflections that still accompany us today: How are the products we use daily made? Who benefits from them? And how can trade be made fairer?

We haven't found easy answers. But we have decided to take responsibility where we can.

Titik.spices was born from the desire to think differently about spices: with transparency, long-term partnerships, and direct exchange with the people who grow and process them. For us, quality doesn't just begin with taste, but at the origin.

Every spice tells a story of a place, the people who shape it, and the trust that has grown over time.

This journey continues. With every harvest, every encounter, and every spice that finds its way into your kitchen.
